Schedule for authors

Abstract submission

The call for abstracts is closed.

All abstracts were received by the scientific committee and authors were notified upon the selection of the papers on 22. Febuary 2013.

Paper submission

Authors whose abstract has been accepted by the scientific committee are asked to submit a paper (8 to max.12 pages including figures and references), suitable for publication in the Conference proceedings.

The paper must comply with the requirements given in the template.

All received papers will be reviewed by members of the scientific committee and other well-known experts.

Deadline for submission of final contribution is 10. May 2013. Contributions that are submitted at later point will not be published in the printed proceedings.

At least one author must register for the Conference. In the event of a previously registered author being unable to attend the conference for whatever reason, it will be acceptable to have another person presenting the contribution in his or her place.

Conference language

The language of communication at the Conference will be English, and all abstracts and papers must be written in clear English.

Publication of papers

Accepted papers will be collected and published as Proceedings of the International Conference on Seismic Design of Industrial Facilities.

The Proceedings will be available in print to all registered participants upon arrival at the Conference.

Guidelines for Speakers

Each contribution is allotted 20 minutes of time, which should be split to 15 minutes of presentation + 5 minutes of discussion.

The conference language is English.

For your presentation a beamer and a conference laptop are provided.

Please send your PowerPoint- or pdf-presentation in advance (20. September 2013 at the latest) by email, so we can check if everything is technically in order.
